Learn famous Italian recipes in a fun and cozy environment. Start with appetizers and an Olive Oil Tasting. Move in to the kitchen to Cook a delicious, fresh and organic meal. Linger at the table savoring every bite while learning the secrets of Food and Wine Paring. Experience the joy of cooking with others and indulge in the pleasure of your senses.

Tastings
(from small parties to large events)
All the tastings last for two hours and are divided into 2 sections of 60 minutes each. In the first section, Orietta touches upon educational topics. In the second, she leads a practical tasting by sensory evaluation.
- Olive Oil Tasting
Olive Oil Tasting is the perfect option for every occasion. It is educational, entertaining and very easy to organize. As olive oil awareness is gaining momentum, this tasting is the way to go.
- Cheese Tasting & Cheese and Wine Pairing
Cheese Tasting is a great way to gather friends and offer more than just wine. It is fun, very popular and it offers a wide selection of products. The tasting can be followed by a cheese and wine pairing to be decided in accordance with the cheese selected.
- Chocolate Tasting & Chocolate and Wine Pairing
I don’t need to tell you, Chocolate Tasting is great! Not only it is the perfect occasion to gain knowledge, it is also pure delight and indulgence. The tasting can be followed by a chocolate and wine pairing to be decided in accordance with the chocolates selected.
- Dinner with Food and Wine Tasting & Wine Pairing
Why simply host another dinner party when you can do so much more? Have Orietta lead a food and wine tasting at your dinner party. During dinner, Orietta introduces each course and speaks 10 to 15 minutes between courses. She can also circulate during dessert for a Q&A with guests.

Sommelier, Olive Oil and Food Tasting Expert for Your Events
Orietta is particularly passionate about food and wine and she is serious about transferring her knowledge to the beautiful Country that adopted her. Born and raised in Rome, Italy, Orietta moved to California in 2008, conveniently close to great wine, food and olive oil production. In America, she created, produced, and hosted a wine show on KRON4 in San Francisco. She founded a food and wine appreciation Movement (Italian Women Know Food and Wine) leading classes and sensory analysis seminars. Orietta is a regular guest on NBC, CBS and Fox affiliates. She is working on her second book (to be released in the fall of 2012).
Orietta focuses intensively on sensory training and considers the enogastronomic experience as an overall leisure activity to be shared with friends and family. She strongly disapproves of today’s trends that either promotes looking at food by counting calories, points and nutritional values or encourages consuming enormous portions of prepackaged food “on the go”. Her classes and seminars are most admired for her innovative approach that motivates participants to forget the “nonsense” and retrain their senses, look for quality rather than quantity, and take the time to enjoy honest food in terms of pleasure.
Orietta holds a Diploma of Sommelier from the Associazione Italiana Sommeliers. She is a member of the UC Davis Olive Oil Taste Panel and she is a judge for several olive oil, food and wine competitions.
Orietta is based in North California but travels all over the US to appear at events.
